Abstract Submission



The scientific committee invites delegates to submit abstract(s). The topics should be focused on Minimally Invasive Surgery in Gynaecology. This year the committee is particularly interested in videos demonstrating surgical techniques related to “Controversies Minimally Invasive Surgeries in Reproductive Health”. Abstracts may be selected for oral presentation.

The committee will also consider abstracts falling into the following categories:

  • Benign Gynaecology
  • Gynae-Oncology
  • Reproductive Medicine
  • Urogynaecology

There will be 3 awards for the best oral/video presentation.


Abstract submission: Accepted file types: .doc, .docx, .pdf or .txt and file size has to be <10MB.

Abstracts can be submitted for video or poster presentation. Abstracts should not exceed a maximum of 750 words. It may contain 1 additional table, 1 figure and 1 image. Abstracts should include a Title, Author(s), Institution(s) and no more than 5 references.

Videos should not be longer than 5 minutes and ideally include the following features:

  • Introduction
  • Narration
  • Captions
  • Conclusion

Acceptable video formats are .mpeg, .mwv, .mp4. Other files formats can be accepted should they be able to play on Windows Media Player. The file should be zipped and sent via e-mail to the Congress Secretariat together with the abstract.

Delegates must submit original work. The abstract must not have been published or presented elsewhere.

Important Information

Abstract submission is free. Closing deadline is 11 June 2019. If abstracts are accepted, delegates must be fully registered for the Congress by 5 July 2019.


The corresponding author will be notified of the outcome within 2 weeks of submission. If the first author is unable to attend the congress, co-authors may present the abstract. This should be put in writing to the Congress Secretariat at liam.toh.gn@kkh.com.sg. If you decided to withdraw your submission, a written request must be also be made to the Congress Secretariat. This should be no later than 5 July 2019.
